My 1st Wedding. - The lead up to the big day.

My 1st wedding.

I was asked by a college who I work with if I would photograph their wedding. I though this wouldn't be too hard as I love photography and so I said yes.

Now as I have said yes, I better find out what I have gotten myself into.

Well, after a couple of hours of research I was starting to panic.. This wedding photography is a big deal. The time is around October of 2024 and the wedding is in May 2025 so I have time to learn and research.

I found a company called SLR Lounge which offer fantastic wedding training. I paid for an annual subscription and jump in with both feet. Well, there is a lot to this, it was training video galore.

The next few months rolled by with me ticking off the videos and trying to put into practice what I had learnt.

To help with the upcoming wedding I offered my college a free engagement shoot, We chose Sea Palling as a setting, It was sunny, very windy and bitterly cold. It was great to discuss the up and coming wedding, discuss posing and get some practice and lovely photos.
