A Stunning Manor Hall Wedding in Sutton, Woodbridge – A Day Full of Love, Laughter & Beautiful Moments

There’s something truly special about photographing a wedding at Manor Hall in Sutton, Woodbridge. It’s one of those venues that feels warm and full of charm the second you arrive. From the rolling countryside views to the elegant interiors, every corner is a dream for wedding photography – and this day was no exception!

I had the absolute pleasure of capturing Emily and Thomas’s incredible day from start to finish. From the early morning buzz of excitement as they got ready, right through to their first dance under twinkling lights, it was a day filled with emotion, laughter and so many unforgettable moments.

Morning Preparations – The Calm Before the Celebration

The day began with a mix of nerves and excitement as the bride got ready surrounded by her closest friends and family. Manor Hall’s stunning rooms offered the perfect backdrop for those bridal prep shots – full of natural light and soft tones that make every image glow.

Meanwhile, the groom and his groomsmen were just down the road, enjoying a few laughs (and a quick pint!) before heading to the venue. I love capturing those candid moments – the buttonholes being pinned, the jokes, and that last-minute tie adjustment before the ceremony begins.

The Ceremony – Full of Heart and Emotion

The ceremony took place in Manor Hall’s beautiful ceremony room, flooded with light and emotion. As the bride walked down the aisle, there wasn’t a dry eye in sight. I always aim to capture not just the big moments, but the subtle ones too – a proud glance from a parent, a tear wiped away, or the nervous smile before the vows.

When the couple said “I do,” the room erupted in applause, and the joy was absolutely contagious.

Drinks, Laughter and Candid Magic

After the ceremony, guests spilled out into the gardens for drinks, laughter, and lots of hugs. This is always one of my favourite times to capture those relaxed, natural moments – friends chatting, confetti flying, and everyone just having an amazing time in the sunshine.

We made the most of the stunning grounds around Manor Hall Sutton, sneaking away for a short couple’s shoot. The golden light filtering through the trees made for the most romantic portraits – the kind that really show off both the couple and the beauty of the venue.

The Evening – Speeches, Dancing and Pure Joy

The reception was packed with laughter (and a few emotional tears) during the speeches – always one of my favourite parts of the day to photograph. It’s such a genuine mix of emotion, humour and love.

As the evening rolled in, the dancefloor came alive. The first dance was beautiful – just the two of them surrounded by friends and family cheering them on. From there, it was non-stop energy, spinning, singing and laughter late into the night.
