ABOUT Me
Matt Willimott
When the alarm sounds it's dark and I make my way to my faviorite places or somewhere in the countryside, or maybe an adventure to another part of the uk, I get excited. What will I see when the sun comes up? it’s a rewarding experience that is seriously hard to beat - and getting to share that with others is my goal.
Growing up in Norfolk England, and living in a little village called Stoke Holy Cross, I am extremely fortunate to be surrounded by stunning seascapes, The Broads National Park and magical landscapes right on my doorstep - Norfolk really is a landscape photographers’ playground. However, with the sense of adventure I travel further a field from Dorset to Derbyshire and beyond, with my dream list of locations to visit growing by the day.
One thing that landscape photography has taught me over the years is to make the most of shooting the seasons, waiting for the fresh Spring greens, scouting locations for Autumn colour, or taking shelter from a Winter storm, it’s all part of the landscape photography journey.
Landscape photography is my way of being able to capture moments in time, landscapes which tell a story that will last forever. I am a firm believer in printing my work, bringing the digital art form to life through tactile papers.
